Volunteers are vital to the success of the Sp’akw’us Events, as they are with all community run events. We have roles for everyone which include the lead up to the event, on event day(s) and after the events days.

What we can offer you:

  • A Fabulous Spa’kw’us Events t-shirt and other awesome volunteer swag.
  • Catered lunch in a fun setting.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a community run mtb event that benefits all.
  • Opportunity to check out the race, especially if you want to participate in 2021?

Key positions to consider:
Event Set-up – We start on the Thursday before the event weekend by bringing event structures to the venue and continue through Friday till Saturday morning for the Sp’akw’us 50 (Challenge, day-1).  On Saturday evening, we begin setting up for the Sp’akw’us 35 with final touches put in place on Sunday morning.  Volunteers on any of these days are welcome.

Race Package Prep – TBD.

Race Package Pick-up – Friday June 19th evening (6pm – 9pm), Saturday, June 20th morning (8am – 10am) for all events. Sunday June 21 morning (8am – 10am) is for Sunday only racers.
